Lab Services
The Laboratory assists caregivers in the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of disease and in the assessment of health using clinical laboratory methods. The Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and is certified by the Clinical Laboratories Improvement Amendment of the Department of Health and Human Services. The Laboratory Medical Director is licensed to practice medicine in Virginia and is board certified in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Properly trained medical technologists and technicians perform all testing at LewisGale Hospital at Pulaski.
