Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy works to restore chewing, swallowing, eating, talking, memory and visual difficulties.
Diagnosis include:
- Voice disorders.
- Speech problems such as phasia, dysthria and dysphagia.
- Hearing, talking, visual and memory problems resulting from neurological diagnosis.
Treatment includes: evaluation, specialized techniques including Vital Stim and patient/family education.
Following a Physician order for Physical Therapy or Speech Therapy an evaluation will be scheduled and performed. Follow up treatments are usually scheduled as you progress. Your treatments may include modalities, educational material, exercises and special techniques to assist in improving your condition.
Outpatient services are available at the hospital or at Valley Physical Therapy Services which is located in downtown Pulaski.
