Cancer treatment services
At LewisGale Hospital Alleghany our general surgeons perform surgical oncology procedures. These procedures remove cancerous tumors to prevent more cancer cells from forming and spreading in the body.
Our cancer care also includes infusion services at Blue Ridge Cancer Center, our in-house, outpatient infusion center. Patients in Alleghany County can receive their chemotherapy treatment in a hospital close to home.
Blue Ridge Cancer Center is located inside of LewisGale Hospital Alleghany on the second floor and is easily accessible by elevator. The center is open daily: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Patients can use the main hospital parking located in front of the main entrance.
